Where can Intralox make the difference for you?
ReceivingTake abrasion resistance to a new level
In the harsh, highly abrasive conditions of the receiving area, debris and grit can migrate and accumulate between belt modules and rods, causing wear and shortened belt life. Series 1700 and 1750 Flush Grid belts are designed specifically to address high-abrasion challenges that can lead to shortened belt life, unscheduled downtime, low process reliability, and other issues common on receiving lines.
Benefits:
- Ideal for highly abrasive loads and long production cycles
- Designed for straight runs, inclines, and declines
- Engineered to reduce downtime and lengthen belt life

Intralox belts are available in both standard (polypropylene, acetal, and polyethylene) and special application materials, including hygienic belting material. Knowing the operating and environmental conditions is critical when determining a suitable belt material. Factors to evaluate include:
- Product characteristics like texture, abrasion levels, moisture content, and temperature, including extreme temperatures
- Our belts can withstand temperatures as high as 400°F (204.4°C) in fryers and as low as -100°F (-73.3°C) in freezing applications
- The type of processing occurring in the area—heating, cooling, washing, drying, etc.
- Environmental conditions like room temperature, moisture or humidity levels, friction factors, or the presence of chemicals and abrasive materials
- The size, weight, and throughput of the products being processed
- Our belts are proven to handle throughputs as high as 100,000 lb/hour (45,359.2 kg/hour) and as low as 5 lbs/hour (2.3 kg/hour)
