Team Tip: When correctly combined, Intralox belts and sprockets run efficiently and prevent foreign material contamination. We don’t recommend using our S800 Ultra Abrasion Resistant split sprocket with anything other than our S800 belting. Use with an alternative belt voids the sprocket’s warranty and can lead to premature wear, mistracking, belt breakage, and foreign material contamination.

One poultry processor’s belts consistently presented issues after just six months, with replacement required after one year. Rod camshafting made the rods difficult to remove, and the belt was no easier, requiring a grinder and at least four people to remove.
